An extremely versatile actor, and from everything I've heard a genuinely nice bloke.

It's a toss up between Possession (had it on the side waiting for October for a while), and Event Horizon or Jurassic Park tonight I think.

He bought a charm to the cinema screen.
One of my favourite actors, in some great movies. Really sad news. You will be missed but thank you for leaving us with one of your greatest movies in Jurassic Park for generations to enjoy.

aye, and he was originally from Tyrone iirc, when he relearned it, he just went full Paisley.

Same here and exactly in that order too!

I was so sad to see that he's passed on too now. He was part of my childhood (Jurassic Park at the cinema when 13) so another huge loss of talent.

Possession is a great film too!!

To be honest, it's years since I've seen it but I could have done with subtitles when watching it! Lol.

It is one of those "wtf" films but that's probably why I loved it!

What is there to say really.. Amazing guy in real life and as an actor. Really sad to hear this news and getting tired now of hearing about people passing away this year it has been right up there as one of the worst years. R.I.P mate.

Another mention for The Omen III, Neill plays the part of a grown up Damian to a tee; superbly menacing.
