Samsung 840 EVO configuration for best performance

So i checked cables and found out that new 840's was on asmedia 6gb post and not on intel 6gb ports so i changed and speed of my new ssd are sky high but again ssd where is my os are slower now as they are on asmedia ports .
is there a way to change asmedia posrt to intel ports ???
i mean get two intel 6gb super speed ports is good but four will be better as i have 4 ssd in system

Can't change them they are hardwired to the controllers and the intel ones usually only have 1-2 connections, the only option is an add in SATA controller though that could cause some issues with OS booting as that drive would probably have to be on one of the onboard controllers depending on the hardware.

makesure your on the intel ports, not any third party (asmedia) sata ports

install latest intel rapid storage drivers aswell as the latest mb bios

I hope you "copy and paste" that advice, or you have a mechanical keyboard.

;)

Not sure that many BIOS upgrades make any difference to SATA speeds, but I might be wrong.

Some gigabyte beta BIOS have latest oproms which helps, plus compatibility issues

Edit: I should have read op more,I see he's on the Intel ports,I would try rapid storage drivers though

My Random Write score often seems low.

Currently getting 24321.

Yes, I'm on the latest BIOS/RST drivers etc.

SSD has 53GB of free space, and I have enabled OP. I have stopped using RAPID mode though. It didn't seem to make any noticeble difference.

any overprovisioning?(nvm) I don't have any,i used to though

im using a modified beta bios aswell, idk if that has any affect, all latest drivers inside it

heres my evo magician results and atto benchmark,
