Currently down to 20% and thought I'd check to see any difference in charging, plug in the Anker PPS 45W charger and it said Superfast Charging 2.0 (blue indicator ring) and 1hr remaining until full. Within 1 minute the display changes to normal fast charging (green indicator ring) and the time to full changed to 1hr 20mins.

I then plugged in the Nubia 80W fast charger and that shows "Super Fast Charging" with 1hr 5 mins remaining and does not drop to "Fast charging" after a minute.

I'm guessing this is some sort of bug perhaps with the phone dropping the handshake with the Anker and thus dropping back to legacy fast charging after a minute. My new recommendation would be to buy the official Samsung charger, or use a PPS charger of a much higher output as it will sustain the 45W without dropping to legacy fast charging, although it's only the difference of 20 mins over the full charge so probably not an issue for 99% of people.

Edit* Scratch that, the drop back to Fast Charging happens on the 23 Ultra too it seems, maybe it's the cable I am using, Anker charger should be perfectly fine! I'll use the official Samsung cable the phone comes with.

Still lots to set up, need to check all my apps, Nova Launcher backup restore and organise new icons etc.

Oh also, be sure to turn on adaptive true tone, it's basically Apple's true tone colour which uses the camera to detect ambient lighting and adjust the display to the most accurate output.

That sucks :/ My DPD guy rang the ring doorbell, I was doing some stuff upstairs so took a bit to get down, then he knocked on the door by the time I got downstairs, he said he usually notices doorbell cams don't work so he always knocks and waits. Guess they don't all DPD the same!

I'm glad I went with the black colour, the dark tone camera rings are what I prefer instead of silver camera rings!

Same feeling tbh, but not sure what to make of it, but definitely 'different' haha. Does the titanium sides are coated, do you know? Because blue and green have them in 'black', so not sure if it wil be a problem if scratches. What would be your 2nd choice of colour?
I think mine was blue as I wanted to choose 1 from the exclusive colours this year, but thinking again might as well just go with grey. Mrs bought the S24+ in grey, and I think that is a safe colour option.

I would have chose the Purple next & then the Blue.

No idea about the sides. Mine look a bit goldish. Unless it's just the wat Titanium looks when polished
 
How are you even meant to put on their included screen protector. The little video QR code just sends me to a private video. :cry:

If it drops from SFC 2.0, surely it should drop to SFC regular @ 25W? THat's what my regular 25W PPS Chargers do on my S23U


Also my S24U just turned up... bag is bloody open of course. Having to tell Samsung on live chat before I open the box (everything is still sealed etc but better to be safe...

Mine was a pre 10:30 drop.
My Lego was out nice and early with a slot mostly before 10:30 but my Samsung order didn't get out until gone 9am.
At 10:24 I had a notification saying my DPD driver will be with me within 30 minutes, then a minute later a "sorry we missed you" notification.
Got my wife to look outside and no DPD van, until one suddenly appeared at 10:32!

Guessing they marked it as no one in before half 10 so I can't claim for it being late!

It's home, waiting for me, just a long day at work between me and a phone I'll hopefully keep for a while!

The Lego was missed though! Even took a photo of the front door! He must have not even knocked!
 
On the app it says a pin was not provided hence no delivery. Ring bell shows left within 20 seconds without talking to anyone.

DPD and Samsung completely disinterested.

If it's the same driver tomorrow will be having words (or I might have calmed down by then)

Sorry to say but mine just got delivered now to add screen protector and setup.
