Samsung Galaxy S25 Family Thread

Mine has gone to preparing dispatch.

Ordered Wednesday @ 6:25pm

South America = now

It definitely feels more comfortable in the hand than the S24.. and the weight difference is noticeable..screen colors more vivid and warmer white tone, brightness indoors about the same..animations very fluid ..i little bit lost wih new One UI..anti glare seems equal

UK, soonest I have seen is 31st Jan

Thinking about upgrading my S22 to an S25, not seeing so many good deals this year though. I've seen a couple of people here mention work perks to get decent discounts, what is this and where can I sign up?

Ordered mine managed to get down to 421 with app and samsung finance on rest. Got the free buds and 512gb green titanium.

The freebie offers now really aren't as good as the used to be. I'm getting buds3 Pro from O2 for £20 and saving £480 over the contract term. Mind what I got the Fold 4, there was a free starter kit, free Bud2 pro and 12 months Disney plus all through Samsung. Now you really just get the bigger storage at the previous capacity price and things you need to leave a review on to get them. Not even the pro buds free from Samsung just the standard ones.

I agree, there's not a great deal of free /discounted stuff like there has been in the past. I also fooled myself into thinking the Buds3 Pro were part of the deal :D I'd probably not use them much anyway but that's not the point, I'd simply misread the preorder pages correctly

I had every top of the line of S phone since S5 (with the exception of S21U)
Currently on S24U, this year I just can't justify it, I don't use the AI stuff, and SW changes will be available to S24 lineup in about a month anyway.
And "worst" of all, S24U is too good.
What's your excuse? Seems like even with the best trade-in offers and discounts, it's still about 400 out of pocket.

It's not that I want too much of an upgrade from S24, but e.g. 5000mAh battery with 25-45W charging like 3rd or 4th time in row? Is Samsung even trying?

Everyone likes a new toy, however early reports from Reddit only really comment about:

  • OneUI 7 (coming to most S-series anyway)
  • Rounded corners, some people will value this but maybe not £400 of value!
  • Less screen grain-iness
Battery, time will tell.

Of course they're not trying.

And anyway... Year on year upgrades are usually far too incremental anyway. This year takes it to the extreme.

I'm aware there won't be a revolution year on year, but this?
anyway, the upgrade from S22U to SD S23U was one of the best ones in a while, purely due to battery life boost of subjectively about 30%.
I just don't feel it this time, no shiny new device vibes to justify the purchase, no significantly improved camera, just nothing.
