Diverting back to the thread : when are the new Samsung's out and will prices of 2016 dip further ?
Other than their new 2017, top end qled, that they are pricing in the same market as OLED - lol, how are their led's being updated
(I assume current ones can support dolby vision, and bbc/hlg formats)

back on fun topic - If the tv(trojan horse) can recognise words like Alexia - it could just start monitoring at that point; this
has to be a hacker challenge - imagine ransomware on your £2k OLED, is that included in JL cover (or already excluded)

OK, still can't make my mind up, I've taken another look and 55" is the largest I could go to on the KS7000 due to the feet. If I wanted larger, I would need to go for the KS9000. I also really prefer the look of the KS9000 over the KS7000

I could spend a bit more (well, £700 extra) on the 55" KS9000 and get the soundbar. Or go all out and get the 65" with soundbar -

£899 KS7000 keep existing soundbar.
£1599 KS9000 55" Curved with Samsung HW-J6500R soundbar.
£2150 KS9000 65" Curved with Samsung HW-J6500R soundbar.

How much trouble is there with the curved screens? Is it a case of some have issues and some don't? The 55C6V has also dropped to £1799 from £1999 which doesn't help :p Comes with the LG SH7 soundbar. So 4th Option -

£1799 LG OLED55C6V with LG SH7 soundbar.

Im Debating to sell my Samsung H6400 48" and get the 49" KS7000 im not to sure if it will be such a big step up in PQ with HD content like Blurays EXC has anybody gone from the H6400 to the KS7000? OLED is what im after but im thinking on one in the next few years instead of grabbing now and see what i can get for 2 half grand in maybe 3 years

the only point in going from a H6400 to a KS7000 is if you do any of the following

buy 4k blu rays
have 4k netflix and amazon prime
subscribe to UHD TV from sky or VM

if you don't then there is no point

Amazon 4K (The Grand Tour :D), Netflix 4K and PS4 Pro are all incredible on the TV, very happy with the purchase :)
