SAPPHIRE 5770 VAPOR-X 1024MB £126.99

I was shocked tbh. There were other Fatal1ty's on there but not FPS editions. The others went for 60 and 77.
Upgrading whole pooter tomorrow that I built at the same time I brought that card.
Good old s939 system is been demoted to my parents pc, it will be faster than their skt a 3200 barton though :D

You done really well there for a five year old part. Supply and demand though people who really want one will pay.

Sweet it has arrived, nice one overclockers.

Can't believe how quiet it is and its not as long as my 4870 so I can move my drives up to the middle on the p182.

Silly me should have said. I have a 4870.

Mark

Being honest you will see about 3 - 4% increase in performance over the 4870 in directX 10.1 games (depending on the game) and of course this is a DX 11 part so for this money you will ready yourself for future titles.

If it was my money I was spending I would go with this Vapor X part as at this price point there really is nothing at all better and it is a top end overclocked super quiet part.

This card replaced my 4870 512, I didn't expect it to blow it away but I want to go crossfire and will be getting another in a few months, also I have a 1920x1200 monitor

The 4870 was the hottests and noisest part of my PC and didn't want to have two kicking out heat so I went for the vapor x 5770

I think it was money well spent and at the price you can't go wrong, also it only needs 1 PCI e power connector which was a nice supprise.

As usually great service from OCUK and DPD (Will be on first names with the delivery guy at this rate) :D

Glad you like the card and thank you for your support and custom :)

How does it compare in size to a 8800GT? I'm planning on getting a 5770 next month.

Not sure on the size of the 8800 GT here are some images, sorry for the quality can't find my camera, have added a line to show the end of the card

Image1
Image2

Its not wider than my motherboard, and in image 2 its up against my old 4870

Hope this helps
