Sapphire 5870 stock today Question

hmmm ordered mine last thursday , they have taken the money and said it would be here tuesday yet its wednesday and its still in warehouse queue :(

Cancel the order and go elsewhere, simples :p

It says pre order on the site, other places have them in stock now waiting to go....

Not everyone has £600 spare cash lying around. I know I don't. That's why I'm stuck waiting for OC. They've already quoted me 3-5 business days wait for a refund & I dont have another £300 at the ready to spend elsewhere on a graphics card. IMO companies shouldn't take the money until the product is shipped. It's s lot safer for the consumer.

this is exactly why i havent done so yet , might aswell wait for it as i'd probably be waiting the same amount (or close 2) if i cancelled. Definately agree that the money shouldnt be taken out until the the product is shipped , especially with such a large company.
 
other sites dont take the money until the item is in stock/shipped, I can understand a deposit on an item but not the full amount up front!!

I am going to purchase a 5850 but decided to wait till the rush was over and stocks readily available
 
I spoke with someone at ...... 6 and they said that asus are playing silly buggers and are giving stock to who they want as there are a limited number of cards.

Lets hope ocuk are friends with asus lol.

I WANT MY BLOODY CARD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!lmao
