Mine just arrived Shame I can't play until tonight
I’ll let you know…I occasionally use the Quest 2 when I’m playing Elite Dangerous. Is anyone who is recieving a new 7900 xt/xtx card a VR (especially quest 2) gamer? If so I'd greatly appreciate a view of how it does.

Thanks Gibbo, that pushed me into a decision!
VR has been sorted on the 23.7.1 driver.I cant be pushed into a decision until I can get some more confirmation on VR performance. Its a joke really that there is so little information out there, and AMD are hurting their own sales by not clarifying this themselves.
Still some issues from what I've read though.VR has been sorted on the 23.7.1 driver.

Mine just arrived....
First impression: No haribo, IR disappoint
Other than that, the thing is HUGE and has a good solid weight to it.
I like the cooler generally, although the red accents are a bit of a negative as they won't fit with all build aesthetics (mine included).
Aiming to get it installed and run a few quick tests over lunch, so will comment on noise/temps/coil whine after that
I think this might be a current known issue, see this thread here. The one issue I've noticed so far is the sound output - I use my TV as a second screen, HDMI through an AV receiver and it appears that the sound continually cuts out if I have a video playing in one tab (YouTube) and open another tab in the browser. Also it cuts out for a moment when switching to/from fullscreen.....hoping there is some setting I can change to fix this as I very frequently open another tab to look something up wihle watching something and my 3060ti didn't have any issue doing this
New Hdmi 2.1 cable might fix it?I think this might be a current known issue, see this thread here.
