100% overclockable!
I bought 8 of this Sapphire X800GTO2 for my store. "ATIFLASH" & the mod BIOS activated all 16 pipelines. No artifact. X800GTO2 is actually a X850 (R480).

It's so easy to make it 16 pipelines!

Over 30% performance improvement! It may be not a X850XT PE but It is a X850XT PE at 200! With the factory default setting (mem:493mhz vpu:400mhz), it scores only 4375 on 3DMark05. With the included Trixx, I overclocked the memory to 573.94, VPU to 491.46. It scores 5094 at 3Dmark05. pretty good.

I downloaded a BIOS from http://www.techpowerup.com/articles/overclocking/vidcard/127/3 The BIOS opens up the additional 4 pipelines (it is now 16 pipelines). I am getting 5576! It is stable, no artifact! It scores higher than X850PRO, X800XTPE. My roommate's X850XT PE scores 5788. He spent almost $500. Absolutly Amazing!

it doesnt make much of a difference to me as i wont be able to afford them

although i am kind of hoping OCUK finds a way to drop the price of these a little more... £166 inc vat and delivery is a bit steep for me at present

I dont think we will know about the X1800 series untill after they are released.

Interesting... I put a post right in this spot where im typing now with some observations about this card and the fact that id found it including VAT and Delivery for £154. And that I was hoping OCUK might help us out by matching it or at least levelling the price a touch as it works out to £166 Inc vat and delivery from OCUK (who I would prefer to buy off) but strangely my post disappeared...

I cant think why it would as I haven’t broken any rules... it surely couldn’t be someone upstairs trying to keep me quiet rather than reply or compete...

Odd that, then again it doesn't suprise me. I mean the whole "available exclusively from OcUK" is totally pointless as it isn't exclusive to OcUK.

true, although there not in stock yet they have been available to be pre ordered for tuesday from a well known northern E-tailer and retailer for the best part of a week it would seem. It also shakes my trust a little in OCUK when they pull the "Exclusive" bit and remove posts because it says something they dont like rather than trying to address it.

first are OCUK going to be adjusting the price to match other e-tailers ? secondly why were these billed as "Exclusive to OCUK" and finally who removed the initial post regarding these matters im asking about and what was their reason??

When you see another Etailor with stock let me know.

Secondly were about £10 more maximum than other places, but whilst other places aint got stock then that argument pretty much goes away and the other place advertising these don't offer the same kind of levels of service as we do, such as these forums and 48 hour turn-around on Sapphire RMA's.

I said that OcUK have an exclusive on these for like the first week or two as that has not changed to my knowledge, as already said if anybody finds a UK E-Tailor with product in stock and let me know but I have a feeling you won't find another Etailor with stock for at least a week or two.

There is another E-tailor with them. They've had them on their site almost as long as OcUK.

There are lots of Uk E-tailors with them on their sites, problem is none of them have stock.

Nope, thats the car that OcUK sells for £128 Inc. VAT too as well.
