There really isn't much of a difference between a 970 and rx 480 in most games, tbh. Not sure if a replacement would give you much gain.

What resolution will you be using? I'd go for an 8GB version as this game uses a lot of video memory at maximum settings.

Will upgrade to either 1080 144hz or 1440p 60hz with Freesync in a month or less.

Tbh i expect more from the 1060 so salt is needed here. If true Nvidia have well and truly made a mistake. I suspect this is not the case though.

It's been fixed in the driver. Review sites have tested and all is good.

I'll be selling my 970 for a 480AIB on my return from Portugal in early August. I play 1440p UW, but with my monitor having Freesync, I'll see more benefit from the AMD card.
