SAPPHIRE RX 480 NITRO NOW AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER AT OVERCLOCKERS UK (WORLD FIRST) !!!

110W TDP. Is that right? The RX480 Nitro is quoting 175W. Not normally an issue, but that is a 50% increase between the Asus and the Sapphire.

It is not the AIB's fault, AMD over-sold on reference so the GPU went to building more reference to clear those backorders.

Sapphire alone have 5000 backorders on RX 480 reference still to fulfill in just the UK alone, that is the reason.

People post so much BS up, the real reasons are simply RX-480 demand was way way above what AMD could ever predicted. Custom cards go into product this weekend at numerous board partners. :)

so what do james.miller say about this then, a fluke, not true and just someone selling cards blowing smoke up the customers but?

or the real deal truth from someone who knows?

Here lies the problem, amd cards will never have the fanbase nvidia has because the age old accusations of "bad drivers" continue to this day, a reputation amd had back around the time of the rage fury maxx and that was in 1999, here we are 17 years later and a lot of people still believe this to be fact. Its just something that refuses to go away despite the fact amd got their drivers in much better order due to acquiring artx around 2002. Amd drivers have been as good or better than nvidia drivers for over a decade now but that old chestnut still continues to surface.

Both companies have their issues with multi gpu, but the scuttlebutt as always is amd's issues are much worse.

Hum what? anyone with half a brain knows Nvidia drivers are really bad nowadays. can even make cards burn up. Nvidia failed to write sli drivers for over a year due to not following the Microsofts guide for their OS? giving the finger to those that bought 2 cards at launch

To make america great again you copy a black womans speech from 2008.

The 480 are the best card in the mid range segment with the best drivers.
got to love AMD, error on the demand side when increasing TAM, seems its working guys, its working! :D

You are talking rubbish in regards to the Nvidia drivers and burning cards. It was debunked about 10 mins later after people realised it was just some small bad code causing the issue.

Yeah they have had bad drivers but they are not really bad or anything so stop spouting rubbish. I will also go on to say that I have not really had any driver issue since my 7950 from AMD either. I just wait a month for either company to iron out bugs of their latest drivers.

come on, lay off Gibbo, he is merely stoking the fires of anticipation :)

the weather is far too hot to be using these graphics cards anyway.

£290! for the Asus. Wow, that's a bit expensive. The Asus tax combined with the bad exchange rate at the moment is really pushing up prices.

Is there any reviews out yet for any of the AIB cards?

Current prices are making the Fury nitro deal look better and better!!

Question guys. if I'm ordering from Ireland can I select the DPD Two Day delivery instead of DHL worldwide express ? And if I can, what the differences are? Thanks.
