Save it for the black stuff... OcUK Manchester Meet 3

I do believe there's a sweet spot on the 'Hill Climb Course' that would cover a few corners and also looks down onto the 'Ice Bridge' that would be properly good for trackside footage. At least I think there is, it's all a bit of a blur! ;)

I'll be happy giving passenger rides from the 'Half Way House' Pub up the 'Hill Climb Course' to 'Deadman's Junction' & back again like the last time. It work's out as quite a decent little run really & it's cool with me if anybody wanted to grab some in-car footage as well.

Good idea Coco. Hopefully this time we'll be able to get some decent passenger rides on camera.

Gilly's run would have certainly been good to see again :D

How do you plan to mount the camera to get the wheel shots Mark?

Could be interesting.

No idea yet. Thinking something Panasonic. Get paid on the 10th, so it'll be a whim purchase really. You recommend anything?

Got the SM1 on order mate ;) good price and should stick like a good un.

I've got a JVC camcorder works great, mini dv / dv out / good zoom / ******* of all places had it on special offer, anything Panasonic / JVC / Canon is going to be alright, just check the specs.

Mind saying that i've just seen a great deal on a Samsung VPD-351 DIGITAL CAMCORDER. will send you an e-mail with the link mate.

Found it mate ;) It was on that site you edited out.

Wow, that's an absolute bargain. I can easily afford that :) I just hope they have them in stock when I get paid.

Yeah I decided to give the F1's another chance. Getting the tracking done so hopefully they will last longer then the current ones.

Plus I have F1's on the front so at least all four tyres will be the same.

Also bought some door sill plates.

My rover already had chrome sill plates from the factory :p

Mark, that would be great mate... that is if I can find anywhere to mount it... having no rear seats and all ;)

Bad news guys, my request for a day off has been ignored and I am on an 8-5 on the 19th. I am going to do my best to swap shifts with someone in order to free myself up for the sunday, so keep me down as a possible :)

Well, its meant to be one of my best mates on the department who gets put incharge of the ROTA's at the moment, she even told me she would give it me off, I will use my charm on them to swing it my way, but I am at another meet on sunday the 9th of april, I hope they dont get annoyed with all these sunday requests.

It would seem i have an OCUK task to perform on this meeting, car won't get 43mpg while thrashing it or so i have been told, so Andy / El / Mike / Si witness me resetting my trip computer and then make sure i take a picture of the MPG at the end of the day.
