Saving Sessions / Demand reduction thread

I am only on G1 hybrid which is limited to 2.6kW, and in reality battery can export at 2.4kW on that, so with house load taken off, I'll probably only be able to get about 2.5 - 3kWh out of the system, better than a kick in the face as they say but wish I had a bit more bandwidth.

Bummer, I know someone (not personally) that has I think 4 powerwalls on 3 phase system, they are going to love the upcoming saving session lol

I'd love the upcoming saving session, if only the wretched system would record it, does make me wonder what I'm going to get charged for my off peak electricity usage, I'm really hoping the data is just stuck somewhere, but after today I'm going to stop force exporting just in case the data is lost.

Yeah 3-3.2 is my expectation for tonight. Batteries are full so should get through the rest of the night with whats left. Not bad getting £12 or so quid for doing nothing though especially as i'll have only paid 7.5p/kwh for the electric overnight.

Info on website has changed, as well as saying the previous 5pm to 6:30pm they added 1h between those times, REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Won't be getting 30+ quid anymore lol

Just went to website and it does indeed state 90m

I need a couple of 15.5kWh batteries to discharge to the grid.

You will also need a suitably large inverter to send it to the grid, I have circa 29kWh of batteries, but only an 8kW inverter, so in theory that's 12 kWh in 90 minutes.

The App has always said 1 hour 17:00 to 18:30, I noticed it last night, and the web said 90 minutes.

Don't worry they give you £1 per session if you have a dodgy meter

ah, thought they were pulling a sneaky for a second lol, this is my first time doing all this as I didnt get notification for last one.

I opted in to the one tonight. Be interesting to see how we get on. I'll be out for most of the duration! Will ask the Mrs to not use much elec and see how she translates that. She'll probably have a 30 minute shower and then dry her hair for another 30 then cook dinner with all the lights on.
