Saving Sessions / Demand reduction thread

Exported 7.4 :p

Where is the easiest place to find my baseline?

octopus website and check past couple weeks on exporting
He said what's the easiest way, to do as you've said he'll have to look up when there were sessions, even if Octopus did not participate it counts, then note imports and exports, then calculate it all.

This is the easiest way https://savingsessions.streamlit.app/

I exported 7.539 kWh, less my baseline = 7.069 kWh additional export.

forgot about that site, not even used it this time around since ive not been participating.

I said before but may not have been in this thread
When I looked at the last set of auctions (you know where they sign the contracts to supply the national demand at £x/MWh) there was a decent chunk of demand flexibility in there, so its basically baked in for the capacity calculations.

At the price we are being paid its still amongst the cheapest they can secure.

The scheme was also only scheduled to last until March in previous years, so even if there was demand post April 1st there was no approved mechanism in place to actually trigger the bidding process for demand reduction.
Its now basically permanently in effect so could happen at literally any point.
