It might sound like that to you, but thats not how it went.

BTW, our management structure at work was overhauled recently and the people it affected all had to reapply for their jobs.

How many chose not to re-apply compared to those who re-applied and were turned down?

Surely all the mods wanted to be mods - or they would have stood down already. (Perhaps Dolph is an exception, perhaps not.) So to all intents and purposes it does seem like a convoluted way of Spie sacking the people he wanted to doesn't it? :) Albeit dressed-up in a way more palatable for people, at least in theory.
 
Hmmm, 5:17 AM and this all that happend was the UBs and a couple dons losing there jobs?

Such an Anti climax for the time of day :(

Well i'm thinking more along the lines of can they check all links posted don't contain a virus for example. Is 15 enough people so that when someone does unknowingly post a link that contains a virus there's going to be enough moderators online that one of them spots and removes it before 100 people have downloaded it.
 
Awww, I had my popcorn all ready too.

One suspension so far. Back in the day we would have had about three permabans by now :D

So the mod stucture has changed. We were given previous warning, so what's the problem?
