Scared of moving up

Revise if you think you need to - can't hurt, can it? At least check back over what you've worked on, make sure you're OK with what you might be tested on.

Talk to your teachers, ask how you're getting on. They're just normal people, if you ask them they should give you some good pointers. You could always ask your form tutor, or whatever they're called these days - they might be able to talk to your other teachers and give you a summary of your progress.

Most important thing - enjoy it :D have fun, and the stuff will stick in your noggin.

First day in year 8 you must attack the alpha male of your year.... if you dont prepare to become a fast runner. If your lose and your fat your doomed......

haha only kidding year 8 is easy one of the best years of secondary school.

This is how it goes:

Yr 7: Pancake
Yr 8: Pancake
Yr 9: Pancake
Yr 10: Half of GCSE's
Yr 11: Other Half of GCSE's

Or

Yr 7: Pancake
Yr 8: Pancake
Yr 9: Pancake
Yr 10: Half of GCSE's (hard due to having to learn Y7,8,9 in two years while learning extra modules)
Yr 11: Other Half of GCSE's (hard due to having to learn Y7,8,9 in two years while learning extra modules)

Yr 7: Work
Yr 8: Work
Yr 9: Work
Yr 10: Half of GCSE's (easy due to what was learned in Y7,8,9)
Yr 11: Other Half of GCSE's (easy due to what was learned in Y7,8,9)

Don't forget first day, in your class get them all quite and then say I HAVE SOMETHING TO SHOW YOU, and flop your balls on the desk. Your get rude boy status, and the girls will love you!

*** not that we wanna see year 8 kids balls but the girls at your school might wanna! ***** are getting younger and all that.***

Learning in year 7-9? To be honest, I don't think anything you learn in 7 or 8 can help at all. A bit of the science stuff we learnt in year 9 helped me in year 10. Otherwise, it wasn't a help.

Year 7 - 11 = easy transition between each year

It's Year 12 -13 that you'll need to start properly working
