Just been talking in the office about tv programs designed for kids that made you crap yourself as a kid. I particularly remember the witch from Chorlton and the Wheelies that used to pop up during the intro/outro (can't quite remember). She used to cackle and I used to hide behind my nan's sofa.....

The episode with the scarecrow clown that came alive really scared me when i was little, epecially the pit where it jumped through the window laughing.

The only thing that scares me these days is how rubbish childrens tv has become.

Not hugely scary but some of the stories are quite weird and it's by far the best kids show that was on when I was younger - Eerie Indiana (the first one, not the remake)

Round the Twist was a class childrens show, just so much more interesting and creative than the crap thats shown these days.

Wasn't exactly scary, but it had its bizarre moments, lol.
