Isn't Cyrostatis (or whatever it was called) supposed to be pretty creepy? Then there's always those Clive Barker games or Condemned games...

Turn off the lights and play Clive Barkers Undying. Got some jumpy moments in it, and some of the psychological horror when using the second sight skill is very good.

Very underrated game. Biggest shame was that it didnt get much publicity and sell well, otherwise we could have had the whole trilogy instead of just a one-off game.

Go out (if you have not got a console) buy a PS1 and get Resident Evil 1, 2 and 3, probably the only games ever that have made me scared when playing them.

Dead space is probably the best this current gen on PC as well as Penumbra.
