Schumacher is just the dirtiest most unsporting driver in F1

Good on him.

Racing is dangerous. If you are going to be a (for want of a better word), faggot like Rubens then you shouldnt be racing.

Nothing wrong with the move. Shocking that F1 is now turning into a "your allowed one move, then thats it" situation.

Whats next? Drivers not allowed out in the wet because its too dangerous? Speed cameras?

I had to laugh at Rubens saying that you should only be allowed to move over once! LOL, thats exactly the thing that made Senna "great" in peoples eyes.

Its insane. Only reason people call Senna a genius is because they like to join the bandwagon. Senna was ordinary in terms of his results, lets be fair. MS was an F1 machine, and he was a true, ruthless great.

^^ Christ, what a blinkered brain dead 'Schumacher can do no wrong' post.

The footage speaks for itself.

The only person who comes out of this with any credit is Barichello for the way he conducted himself after the race, as opposed to Schumacher's sour comments.

I'm all for agressive defending, but Rubens was already getting past when Shumacher tried to push him to the wall, it was too late, and ultimately pointless and dangerous. It did make the move more exciting to watch though so I liked it in that sense.

So racing now can only be about driving round and then when someone comes to overtake you have to let them past willingly and not put up a fight?

C'mon, there all there for one reason and one reason only. To win the world championship.

To do that, you have to be a great talent, ruthless, and willing to put you're yourself in position's where you might crash but the benefit's if you don't are worth it. I know today was for 1 championship point and not the title decider.

I find that none of the drivers now are daring or ruthless compared to what they used to be.

Dieing racing cars isn't considered acceptable anymore, the cars are amazingly safe now (just see Webbers low level flying) but it's unnaceptable to try to cause such incidents.

wow. idiocy

Could say the same about your post!

From your obviously highly intelligent reply I take it you are a fan of a procession of cars that arent even racing?

LOL at F1 easing off the throttle to conserve fuel!! Its not even a race anymore!

Im amazed F1 is still going in all honesty, the whole thing is a farce.

Its a shame really, as I still switch on from time to time to have a good look at the engineering and the technology. However, anyone kidding themselves that its still "racing" needs their head checked.

This latest bunch of drivers are absolutely pathetic. Like spoilt children, with no real talent any more. Just spoon fed. Only guy with any talent is Hamilton/Alonso, but heaven forbid they actually try and overtake anyone, it just gets branded as dangerous by armchair fans.

Cant believe all the absolute girls that are getting their panties in a twist over a RACING MOVE. Seriously. "oh noes, he moved him close to a wall!! The world could have ended!!"

Indycar drivers drive INCHES from a concrete wall at OVER 220mph in some cases... Thank god they havent gone all nanny state like F1.

F1 used to be a real sport and im gutted its gone the way it has.

I'm sure that Schumacher isn't the only person to have caused or nearly caused accident's so they don't get overtaken.

But hey, as I've learn't Schumacher is always in the wrong, he won his 7 world titles and broke many F1 records because he is a mediocre driver and never dominated F1 from 2000-2004. Damn, I thought the guy had talent and loved racing.

I see nothing wrong with what happened between the two drivers.

Schumacher closed the gap but Rubens persisted. This is racing afterall !

I'm agreeing with the out of order brigade. Pushing another driver into a grass run off area should be frowned at but pushing them towards a concrete wall is something else.

And after all Schumacher wouldn't have wasted a second in complaining if someone had done the same to him. In fact he's accused another driver of trying to kill him for much less.

EDIT: I really don't know what Schumacher has been trying to achieve with his return to F1. There's no way he can win another championship, if he's looking to go down as the greatest driver of all time he should try his hand at something else.

DC did lift off in zero visibility while on the racing line. That was pure stupidity.

I've been a Schumi fan for years, I've forgiven and forgot many things he's done. You have to realise that he's just ultra-competitive, but what I saw today was one of the worst incidents of it's kind I've EVER watched. I really like Rubens as a driver too and know he would only be fair, and so what Schumacher did was unforgivable in my books. I'm really disappointed.

I think the penalty should have been much higher, like a 3 race ban, and it would have given him time to consider whether he really should still be competing or not any more. If I were his manager, I'd be furious right now. He's done little to justify that seat this season, and this hurts matters even more. Perhaps it's time to give someone else a go. I'd like to see Davidson or someone more experienced take his place who hasn't had a chance in a potentially decent car yet.

If Schumacher continues this form, Mercedes would be very foolish to keep him for another year, though something tells me they still would.

Looking at that again, you have to say that Barichello had some balls to still go for that manouvre and not be intimidated. Credit to Barichello.

Alex Wurz on the BBC - 'You could see from the onboard that he was looking in his mirrors for about 200 meters, so if he didn't see him, either the car is illegal, because the mirrors are supposed to work, or he needs to see a doctor'
