scout update TF2

i heared of a double payload map aggges ago, me and my mate cant remember were we heared it from though.

cant wait for this update :D
 
Interesting how the scout has a double barrelled weapon on that

EDIT: Actually I'm not sure whether the normal weapon is double barrelled or not now lol.

I say its the same, just a different angle of the weapon. I'd expect Valve to mix it up a bit in terms of the weapon design as they have done with the other classes. I don't feel the change is noticeable.
 
Yeah, wouldn't look too much into the weapon design. Don't think it gives many clues. The background on the otherhand looks like double payload maybe? Two sets of track and a big hill...maybe a race between red & blu?

There's been a noticeable difference though. For me, given the angle of the picture, the fact that the back of the gun looks smaller is not enough to get me going mental.

If its another shotgun type weapon i'll be miffed. Almost every class has one. I want the original nailgun type weapon!
 
the nailgun from TFC (shoots in a straight line, and doesn't dip) wouldn't fit with TF2 and would be hugely overpowered against sentries

Last I checked Valve make the game and can make the guns as powerful as they want...

How wouldn't it fit with TF2 considering Machinery is one of the main themes?
 
The 'bat an enemy 25 meters' could mean that they are adding secondary fire mode to charge the bat or something?
