Hi there,

I'm getting screen tearing a lot and I have tried different settings but nothing seems to work.

My monitor is 4k 60hz. GPU 5070Ti.

For example I am playing Indiana Jones on Xbox Game Pass and I have tried the following settings:

In game v sync off
In game frame cap 60
RTTS frame cap 0

In game v sync on
In game frame cap 60
RTSS frame cap 0

In game v sync on
In game frame cap 60
RTSS frame cap 60

In game v sync off
In game frame cap 60
RTSS frame cap 60

In the Nvidia app:

Low latency mode ultra/on

Are there any other settings to toggle or combinations to try? I'm going a bit crazy trying to fix it :D

You should you the 3d settings menu in the Nvidia driver and force Vsync on for everything...I always did that, works fine.

I am doing it on AMD to for each game where Vsync fails to work within the game.

Note sure if it is in the Nvidia App.

Is it actually a monitor or a 4K TV?

My 4K TV supports a variable refresh rate range of a whopping 48-60 Hz, which is quite typical apparently. Screen tearing happens below 48 fps.

I would check to make sure the PC has recognised that that your monitor / TV is VRR (or Freesync) compatible and you're getting over 48 fps. Your settings above should prevent >60 fps and therefore any tearing at that end.
