Haha, excellent. We've had people like you on this forum before, I used to be one of them actually. With less than fifty posts, what's your point in being here? To rile other members and tell them how they should change their attitudes? Or maybe I missed your twenty informative and thoroughly insightful posts over in the CPU board.

Believe me, I am very good at being detatched. It doesn't stop me from reacting when I see something like this and appreciating it for what it is. If you only want to come into this thread to make a mockery of the incident then you're not much better than those who did it. This isn't the time to challenge people and make them look inside themselves to see how they could revolutionise their emotional reactions. Sometimes things are just crap, we can all see that, and by reacting to them as we do we are empathising. If you don't want to do that but would rather act like a yob or child, do so over at another forum.
 
The thing is, you just know there were X number of people who saw this happen and did nothing... That is where the real problem lies, there is no sense of community that makes people feel that if they do stand up to idiots, that they will get support from other members of the public around them. Everyone is chicken ****!

Exactly. The general English public disgusts me in this regard. My female housemate once had her bag snatched in front of a load of people, none of which even batted an eye lid.
