So which ones are quiet - the green paste ones from Singapore, or the pink paste ones from China?

it not that easy anymore .any of them now can make a lot of noise now .going by what people are saying .

From reading the forum the pink China ones have all been very quiet untill recently with only the odd one having been reported as noisy.

About a month ago there was a batch of green ones from Singapore that were reported as noisy but all the recent ones have been very quiet.

I feel the chances of getting a good quiet one today is higher than 50/50 more like 80/20 or higher in favor of it.

Just fitted into a Silentmaxx drive enclosure and the temperatures have dropped from 44 to 36. Noise wise its much much quieter.
Can't recommend the enclosure enough!

(running a very quiet watercooling setup)

What are you using to monitor temps if you don't mind me asking?
