Second hand prices

How is he wrong?
Only Founders Edition sold out initially..probably because they had 400-500 total in stock launch day for UK while plenty of third party cards in stock..FE in stock too

4090fe's didn't sell out they sold the designated amount nvidia wanted them to sell, while nvidia is sending invites via geforce experience to nvidia gpu owners to buy the rest sat in stock at the retailer, while trying to get people to register on geforce experience because they have had a hard time getting people to register and login on it as people don't want to give nvidia their details and nvidia to sit there collecting information off their system.

It's a scam really and also AIB cards are available right now for 4090s, just need to know where to find them and some still at msrp while others are sat in stock because retailers are trying to scalp them and people are not buying them.

OcUK sold out very quickly. OcUK and Caseking have no stock.

plenty of AIB available on various retailers websites, just checked today and even FE available from Nvidia..

Given that nvidia explicitly stated that they were going to use their total monopoly position(*) to manipulate the market in order to inflate prices and profits, I think that the most likely explanation is that nvidia are doing exactly what they said they would do. In this case, imposing a temporary partial constraint on supply in order to heighten FOMO on release day.

* nvidia usually have a position of dominance which gives them close to the power of a monopoly, but right now nvidia have a total monopoly position on top end cards because AMD doesn't have a competing product and has chosen to remain completely silent about their forthcoming competing product (if they have one) so that nvidia has a completely open goal at the hugely lucrative "money no object" segment of the market. AMD will delay releasing their own halo card or even any information about it until almost every potential customer has bought nvidia's product instead. Either AMD are incompetent or they're working for nvidia. Maybe some bribery was involved, who knows? Bribery would explain what has happened and I don't have another explanation.

Shown as out of stock on the Nvidia website, as it was when I posted earlier.
both FE and some AIB were in stock an hour ago when I post that comment.

An hour is a long time for 4090 availability. The FE is out of stock now and it was out of stock when I replied to your post.
well I just randomly checked while reading this thread at 15:17 today (as shown in photos) and there was FE and others in stock as you can see..
they come in and out of stock..there's no shortage like 3000 series in 2020-2021..
looking elsewhere there are various AIBs in stock and more FEs will become available too.

The FE has sold out again and "selling out" is the point of discussion. You're not allowed to post or hint where else you've seen stock so we can't take this any further.

You sure it wasn't just your browser cache showing an out of date page? Its showing out of stock for me I've never seen it in stock honestly.

They were definitely in stock at the time,I keep checking the store as I’m after the 3080 FE.using different computers/phone.
I’ve seen 4090 in stock few times since launch.3090 / Ti too.but now all show out of stock again.
The only card that I haven’t seen back in stock is the 3080.

the nvidia site are showing the "buy" button for several 4090's so they appear in stock but when u click buy u get given a link with a price (which has gone up since launch day) to various retailers including OC. however every retailer link i've clicked is out of stock.

Yes thats how it works for third party cards, but not the FE.
if you see “buy now” under FE,it means they have stock.(a certain retailer that fulfills FEs for Nvidia).

been sitting there all week now!
