Second Life Ruined my Marriage!!..

It's got nothing to do with second life (sounds like a cut and paste from some sensationalist media headline anyway). "If" this is true, the relationship was already over and she was looking for someone else anyway.

Why does the sound exactly like a documentary I was watching a few weeks ago

I call your story BS.

So prior to this "SL incident", you or her (you haven't said which) had commited Adultery?

If it's her, then sorry, but she's got a problem being faithful. Hard to accept, easier said than done, but do you really want a marriage to someone who you can't trust?

Nope!... There was no 'Third Party Involvement'.. http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17902567&highlight=username_simian it was just (as my solicitor called it) 'Unreconcilable Differences'.. but they (the courts) don't do that any more! its 'Unreasonable Behaviour' which I've not been, and as she's the one who's petitioning for devorce its got to be me thats 'Unreasonable' (even though its blatantly her!), so its 2 year separation!..

It sounds to me like a bit of a wind up! If its not mate she needs help. As others have said theres no way hes going to turn out how she is expecting him to be in real life. Id let her make her own mistakes mate as if you try and confront her its just going to make a messy situation worse. Either that or as people have suggested pull the plug on the internets lol :D

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! sorry... I'm laughing at her, not you. Think about it this way, do you really want to stay with/try to get back together with someone who thinks they can have a meaningful sexual relationship with someone purely over a bit of copper cable (and ofc some fibre)?

I would just take it as a sign that your break-up was the right thing to do, and go out and meet someone slightly less crazy. (I know that's far easier said than done =/)

For the obligatory stupid answer; why not wait somewhere where you know she will come in soon (e.g. kitchen just before she makes food), on a phone-sex line, masturbating furiously... surely she would be "ok" with that?

Cheers Mate!... Come round I'll introduce you to her!..

Your wife prefers a faceless being who in real life could look like Geoff Capes rear end to you ... If it was me, I wouldn't admit this in public.

Thats sort of what I said above!... Though I think its more embarrassing for her!!

Install screen capture software
Record everything she does
Have a webcam? Record that

Make a "best of" dvd and send to her friends and family

Or...

she's escaping an awkward situation (living with ex while going through a seperation) by indulging in some escapism ?
While the amount of time online is a bit excessive so what if she frantically types to a bloke online? It's a chat room with extras, being as you've broken up she can chat / flirt with whoever she wants, saying whatever she wants.
calm down and let her get on with it. it won't come to much and she probably knows that. it's just an interactive romance novel
