Here's some extended footage and opinions (some GREAT opinions) on the game:

I never pre order games, but my love for From Software and the Souls series just can't stop me from breaking my rule. Anyone else excited for this?

Also, I did an extensive search on existing threads, I couldn't see any other than in the console section.

Nah, it's past it unfortunately. I've had to cancel several new build plans for what feels like forever. Maybe this summer I can finally hit the purchase button.

Sad times, however, I doubt there will be much graphical change between consoles and PC apart from fps and higher resolutions. So either way, it will be epic :D

I'm so excited, not pre ordered a game since... Dark Souls 3 oddly enough. Which I've still not gotten round to finishing, got close but lost a save and just haven't had the time recently. I normally 100% on my initial playthroughs, which as we know, a From Software game has a LOT of nooks and crannies.

It looks awesome. Although it looks like a faster paced Nioh, which was a good game once you learnt how it worked.

Thing is with Dark Souls you could choose to be fast or clunk about in heavy armour. I don't think you can do that with this. I could be totally wrong, not watching to many videos. But I hope it does have the armour options so you can be fast or just clunk around.

Can't wait for it but I hope people don't think this is another Bloodborne or Souls and end up disappointed. There are no builds, armours or even levelling up in this game. It's its own thing.

I always ended with with dex builds, it's the world and story I love from these games. I'm glad this one isn't online either. Purely focused on a story and mastering the combat. I can't wait to get parrying down to a T.

Same here, what attracted me to Bloodborne the most was the lore, bosses and incredible atmosphere paired with stellar level design.
Hope to get more of that from Sekiro and I can't scoff at actually having a pause button:p

Completely forgot this was coming out.

I really hope there are good stealth opportunities. I'm looking forward to some combat, but I also want to get my Tenchu on! :D

Was quite glad when I heard there would be no online. I'm gonna miss co-op, but I sure as hell am not gonna miss being invaded.

That's disappointing. What does the game has going for it then apart from the Japanese theme?

Fast-paced and fresh combat/movement, stealth and a couple of new interesting mechanics paired with trademark From atmosphere/lore and unforgiving difficulty? And a Japanese theme:p

Not much else springs to mind, it's just not Dark Souls or BB, they said it themselves. I loved BB but I don't really mind something different. It stIill feels like From judging by what's been shown.

I think it's more the appeal of having the backbone of the previous Souls and BB games for the combat, making it unforgiving and challenging. However, allowing Hidetaka Miyazaki to stretch his legs in terms of story telling up front rather than though tidbits and focusing on a more linear solo player experience. I am super excited for the focus on the game rather than build. It will help with getting better at combat rather than relying on builds to be OP. I get why some souls fans would see this as a step back, but I see it as a step sideways which is always a good thing in my book.

Exactly. This time round, you'll actually have to get better properly instead of grinding a few levels here and there to make a boss easier or relying on some specific builds being effective. Plus more focus on story, completely diffrent setting and reworked combat, so it'll feel fresher. It's more of a challenging From-flavoured action-adventure game than typical SoulsBorne which is fine by me.

I cannot wait to get better at parrying, it's something I've never been good at in Souls games, I can't even begin to imagine how good it's going to feel perfectly parrying a bosses flurry of attacks only to be followed up by a riposte kill. I NEED THIS GAME!

It's also reminding me of Ninja Gaiden, of which I was a huge fan of back in the day. That game was TOUGH and was similar in a sense that there was no 'builds' or OP'd weapons (from memory) and you simply had to 'git gud' lol.
