I got the elite velour model. I knew the leather ones will remove more due to the nature of the material, so didn't want those.
I knew what the velour only ones would offer as I had the same type on the K7XX and Fidelio X1 and X2 so figured I'd stick to what I knew!
User reviews will always be half and half. Everyone's ears are different, and some will even think they're hearing something they aren't due to placebo!
That's why I always tend to post an initial review, then a long term follow-up.
My view is that the difference between velour memory foam and stock is small but good. For the price they're well worth trying at least.
I'm on a NAD DAC/amp bear in mind, so the sound is warm yet highs and lows all neutral. Not sure what someone with a different amp might hear!
