Hmm.. to summarise:

It'll hurt, you'll feel like crap.

Give it some space between you otherwise the emotions are just going to get in the way.

Focus on something to keep you moving in the right direction whilst you go through the breakup emotions.

Talk to mates.

Get on a online dating site in 3-4 months or so... then you'll have something to get going... you may not feel like a relationship for months.. but it'll get you seeing there's more fish out there..

Talk to mates some more..

Get out there and get dating!

This is sound advice, and one that one of my friends followed a few years back (I went along with a lot of us). He was right as rain after, and got over it quickly.
