Hi k3v
Exit Boinc app then go to c drive program data and copy the boinc folder somewhere safe. If the program data folder is not showing on c you will have to enable "show hidden files and folders" in the organiser tab top left.
Once you have reinstalled boinc and teh new optimised app(unins the last inst) and it asks to restart at the point where it asks you to connect and join a project what not exit the app and then copy your backed up boinc folder to c program data after deleting the newly installed boinc folder. :)

ive just re-installed it as per your instructions tbag, thanks, updated the lunatics app, all worked ok. Now its telling me the servers may be down.... have to wait and see if its working now.

Just done an manual update and its not sending or requesting work....

i clicked reset the project and im now getting some work. Fingers crossed thats it..
