Settings for 13700k?

Got mine built. I bought some new drives and so had to spend some time juggling data around.
With everything stock (except XMP loaded). I'm getting 29,358 in CB23 MC. With my modest air cooler it hits 100°C pretty quickly and then 3 or 4 P-cores throttle. It constantly pulls above 200W with occasional peaks around 240W. Definitely needs some taming.

I’m new to tweaking Intel CPUs so haven’t done any BIOS tweaking other than enabling XMP for my DDR4. I’ve set a -0.05 offset in the Intel tuning app which got my CB23 score up a little bit to 30853. Everything else is stock, and I’m on air. Hottest P-Core was 97c.

Did some taming. 175W power limit and a -0.05 offset. This resulted in a CB23 MC score of 28255 (reduction of 1,103). Max core was 83°C, power peaked at 195W. Idle temperature is down by 2°C.

Also had some battles with the PCH temperature. I am using all three NVMe slots and the 3090 covers half of the chipset heatsink. From cold boot it immediately hits 50°C. During light desktop duties (when system fans are spinning slow and quiet), the PCH temperature would rise through the day and eventually hit 100°C. I had to add an extra fan next to the chipset to get it under control. Settles at 75°C now.

New 13700K owner here too, running on MSI Z690 Tomahawk with 3600Mhz DDR4 XMP enabled.

Running the 13700k stock at the moment, with a Thermal Grizzly contact frame and Arctic Liquid Freezer 360 I'm seeing max P core temp of 87 during Cinebench runs.

Will begin tweaking offsets when more time allows.

At stock, XMP enabled 6000 ddr5. Tried a -0.15v offset in XTU. Dropped temps from 95+ to 75-80 running CB23 MC. Didn't affect the score (30k). I'd like to do that in BIOS (ROG Strix Z790F) but not sure where?

Hey OCUK,

New 13700k owner here too. Here is what I have so far:

CB23: 32,356
CPUZ: Single 914.1 Multi 13,324

5.6ghz all P cores, 4.4ghz all E cores, 4.8ghz Ring, static 1.275v OC with MSI LLC 4 (different levels to asus)

Cooled by an EK360 AIO, however after 30 min CB23 stress temps do hit 98C, this is with TG Kryonaut paste and TG Contact frame (from my 12th gen CPU). Is this normal? Room temp is 23C, case is Meshify 2 Compact, full of high quality fans. In gaming and any non-avx load, temp is fine.

Edit: Max power usage during this stress test was 282W :O

I can do 4.5ghz all E cores too but didn't seem to make much difference to scores, so left it at 4.4 for now.

Some things I've noticed however, is the voltage (vcore) changes in CPUZ and HWInfo, but HWInfo shows the core VIDs as 1.320v, no matter what I change the Vcore to, is that meant to be normal? My 12700k did not do this.
