Severance

Got this show mixed up with another one and never watched it until recently thinking I wouldn't be interested in it. One of the better shows out in recent years if a little dry.

To think 20 years ago we got 24 episodes of Lost, Prison Break etc every year.

Now we have to wait almost 3 years for 10 episodes of the next series of a TV show!
From next year everything will probably go back to normal. At the moment we are still feeling the after effects of the recent writers and actors union strikes.

Trailer was great. There is only 2 Apple shows I was waiting for second seasons. Silo and Severance. Getting trailers and release dates for both so close together has made forget the long wait!

I think 10 episodes a year is the best we will get from streaming, as streaming follows the "British" model of filming a whole season then airing it. The old US shows you refer to filmed and aired simultaneously. That model is dying, albeit slowly

Only finished season 1 this week and I'm so glad I didn't know about it earlier as its going to be fresh ready for season 2 very soon.

One of the best shows I have seen in a long time and a genuinely interesting concept.

The fourth season of Stranger Things concluded on July 1, 2022

The fifth and final season of Stranger Things is set to debut on Netflix in 2025

Then they wonder why people lose interest in shows...

Granted the production on shows these days is often significantly more complex than 20 years ago.
