Severance

Strangely I don't seem that interested in season 2 now it has actually dropped despite really looking forward to it after watching season 1, I think the delay even though I was relatively late to the first season has diluted my anticipation and recaps don't really rekindle that (and I usually skip them anyhow).

I know what you mean. It has been too long really.

I love this show. It's so suspenseful and intriguing, however I don't know how long that's gona last if I don't get some answers to the bigger picture. Doesn't need to be the whole thing just enough to keep me hooked.

good so far for season 2. Although they have to be careful now on not drawing out some of the twists too much..We dont want to get the end of this season and still not have some of the plot points resolved (like his wife for example)

Glad we're getting to see what happens to the outies rather than having to wait towards the end of s2 to see it.

I'm a bit confused about the timeline. Episode 1, Mark S innie was told it had been 4 months since the incident. But in Episode 2 it seems like it was about 3 days for Mark S outtie to decide to return unless I'm mistaken.

You mean Lumon might lie? Shock! Horror! :p

Ep 3. Was getting a bit bored of this season so far and ep 3 was worse to start - long lingering shots of.........nothing. But then it got very weird and then by the end i was back hooked.

Episode 3 felt like Oprah giving cameos out, if they keep ramping up the rest of the season like they did with episode 3 I'm actually excited to watch it weekly instead of waiting for s2 to end then binge it.

I watched like 3 episodes but lost interest....I saw a review earlier this week that the mystery of "why" the separation is still held back. I get a feeling of LOST where they are going to drag this out for a few years and then pull a "it's all a dream" in the last episode.

Think we're giving up on this, on episode 5 or 6 now?

It just tries too hard, the whole thing is so contrived, characters are just not endearing or entertaining. The 'mystery' is ladled on with a shovel, yawn.

Stuff like this really shows how amazing Lynch was. In fact, I think it's time to rewatch Twin Peaks instead of this turd.

How people can slate the first season of this is so surprising to me, I've loved it all tbh

Enjoying this season as much so far, it's really picking up. Reading reddit after each episode helps enjoy it too

I enjoyed S1 through and through, though appreciate how some struggled with the slow pace of the earlier episodes. That was definitely not a problem in the season finale

Enjoying S2 so far, though have found the appearance of a rather silly-acting Brienne of Tarth and the annoying doctor from S6 of The Walking Dead quite jarring lol
