How people can slate the first season of this is so surprising to me, I've loved it all tbh

Enjoying this season as much so far, it's really picking up. Reading reddit after each episode helps enjoy it too

The main problem for me is I don't connect with the main character and characters. Perhaps due to the premise, I don't really like him or hate him enough to care, and that translate to don't care of why.

Because it does that thing a lot of modern TV shows do of essentially having 5 or 6 pointless episodes where nothing happens and then all of the 'pay off' is in the last episode or two. It's very understandable.

Thus is the subjectivity of media. I think it's the best show on TV since Breaking Bad :D

one ep from being upto date. im not quite sure where its going to go though and i have a funny feeling its going to end in some silly twist which doesnt add up. interesting concept but just got that feeling its going to end with a crappy lost kind of situation. either all are dead or in a coma. or it was a dream. hope not.

S2, E4 was proper weird. Loved it.

I had a feeling it was Helena not Helly. There were some subtle differences in behaviour. Great acting on that part. Was that obvious? I feel like I’m being Captain Hindsight when I say I knew. :p

Yea a very unexpected episode after last week’s ending.

So Helly hasn’t actually been back to the severed floor since the end if season 1! It’s been Helena the entire time.

I had no idea where this episode was going and was getting ready to call it a day, weird for weirds sake, but that ending!

As for the'twist'? Wut? That was obvious from ep 2! I even posted that here after watching that episode.

I find it very odd and slight frustrating. Massive cliff hanger in Ep 3 and they totally glaze over it.
Oh yeah - they were trying to do the innie/outtie DIY. This is where we find out Ep4 was "all a dream" :) I do wonder how they got the 'twins' to show to all of them during the ORTBO.

I hope they all aren't in a capsule and this is a plugged in Matrix type thing!

Very strange episode following as it did the previous episode where Mark
was having his chip deactivated/outie and innie integrated.
We had to double check we hadn't actually skipped an episode by mistake.

Definitely subscribe to the Matrix/VR vibe. The ice landscape just didn't seem quite real, with the TV screen and the neatly arranged camp in the middle of nowhere. Plus how they all got there in the first place. Guessing they were told to report in their Outie persona then the overtime contingency was switched on, apart from Helly of course. And as she presumably boffed Mark as her Outie self, some leverage there if he goes hunting for his not dead wife.

Yeh, I keep thinking they are in some sort of simulation, but then that doesn't always make sense....unless they are in a simulation within a simulation.

Just lots of weird things like the TV on the mountain top and the heated tents. Where was all the power for this things?? Also, the bad cgi looking "twins". Why didn't they go up to them?

It did give off dream vibes but I feel like this show is a bit too clever to resort to that.
I was surprised for it to unravel like it did in this ep as I was wondering if
Helly wasn't jacked in after that lift scene in a previous ep where they all went up, I was expecting her to go down.
I am starting to think though that there are multiple versions of them and that the Cold Harbor project is the team literally adding memories to their clones or something. Remember there was that person standing in the corridor in ep 1 that looked like Mark

the key thing is the little girl overlooking them. she obviously wouldn't of opted in. so shes a simulation or as said in a coma or something or experiment.
