SFF Cases

Hi guys.

This is aimed at the Sugo users here. What sort of temps are you normal experiencing with cpu idle and max load. ??

I just built a system using a Sugo SG02 with an i7 920 , DFI X58 MATX mobo, 6GB DDR3 1600 , ATI 4870. Love the build but it seem to be pretty hot. Was wondering if anyone else experienced this with the sugo. ??

Thanks in advance.

My desktop use temps, cpu cooler is pretty much on lowest speed

It is surprising that the Zalman performs so well given its low weight. It seems to be able to make much better use of the limited airflow from the cpu cooler than the stock heatsink though.

Yeah, the Zalman weighs about the same as the ASUS one I took off but it seems to work better, I did add the Arctis Silver as well which probably helps. The stock one has a fake heat pipe on in, it's just a metal tube that doesn't actually help the cooling.

heres a few pics of my old LAN rig i built in a Lian L V350

Hi robH , im glad i found this thread as ive been looking at building a HTPC but all of my spare pc components are from a ful sized desktop pc

knowing nothing about SFF , im assuming the only "specialized" bits you had to buy was the motherboard ? and case obviously so the rest of my bits will happily fit on these boards ?

e6600
4850 with vortexx cooler (2 slot)

and i can install a blu ray player in these cases can i ?
