Ok the aim of this thread is to share a tip with the rest of ocuk, this can be something that you find personally handy day to day. It could be a style tip, a tip about ironing for example, or anything else you can think of!

Hopefully by the end we will have all learned something handy! :)

Ill start with my tip.

If you are a skinny guy like myself, dont wear baggy ass tshirts that are too big. They make you look skinnier and rather silly. Buy clothes that fit nice, and although u might be skinny, you wont look like you are wearing a tent :).

Ladies dont blow your hair dry with a Hairdryer while soaking in the bath tub....It is dumb, even a blonde girl wouldnt do it.

When the bus driver says not to stick your head out the window, make sure you listen to him/her.

Woulda been good if we could have had some useful tips or ideas. The usual comedy responses are pretty lame and predictable

If you're a Manchester United or Leeds fan, save money on expensive new kits by simply strapping a large fake penis to your forehead. It is now clear to all, as to your allegiance.

Never expect proper or 100% seriousness in the GD...You only get more unserious reply.

i didnt expect 100% seriousness, however it would have been nice to get more decent replys instead of 90% of the posts being poor attempts at humour.

In my defence, i gave a proper tip...

There's been only a couple of replies, have some patience?

Tip: Never tickle a sleeping dragon.

Tip: Don't bite your nails, do whatever you can to quit. It looks ridiculous when you do it, and your fingers are manky.

When mopping a floor, use super-hot water so it dries quicker and is not slippery for so long. I found this one out the hard way.

If a key does not turn in a lock, do not force it; you will probably shear the end off which will get stuck in the lock and you will have to climb out the window and down the drainpipe to get back into the house. I found this one out the hard way.

If you are moving anything that has strongly springloaded parts, make sure they are secured tightly before attempting to move it otherwise you might get smacked in the face by the spring loaded bit and have to go to hospital. I found this one out the hard way.

If you ever run out of shoe polish, banana skins make a good substitute.

As for the clothes thing. Hoops are fattening and stripes make you look slimmer.
