Looks cack, plus puffy suit = Nono from me.
When he was given the role I was hoping he would train hard for the role, If the the rock is i the movie it just going to look one sided but im going to keep my fingers crossed, shazam has always been one of my favourite superheros.
I think Dwayne confirmed that he won't cameo in this as Black Adam. I guess his first appearance as the character will likely be in his own film; assuming it ever gets made. I think it's 3 years or something since Dwayne was cast as Black Adam, and whether or not Shazam will appear in that, I have no idea. Come to think of it, do DC/Warner?

Black Adam is the only thing I'm looking forward to in regards to Shazam, hoping for quite an entertaining anti-hero story (but with what he's been putting out lately, not gonna hold my breath).

It's Captain Marvel and I don't think they cast the right actor for adult Billy
Originally I was interested in a shazam movie then Dwayne got cast and it became the only DC movie i wanted to watch, 1-2 years zachary levi got cast and i was a bit disappointed but I was hoping he would work hard but the trailer does not look very interesting, I thought it was a TV show trailer, now no rock this may be a miss.
My first choice would have been Bradley Cooper. 2, ryan reynolds

I know but still Cpt Marvel is a better name than Shazam, I just can't call him that
It never changed much for me because when I was a kid (5-6) I thought he was Shazam he would always say it, It stuck with till i got older then it got a little confusing because the magician was Shazam. it was not till iwhen back to it I realised he was l Cpt Marvel. then it became a name issues.
I don't know a great deal about either Captain Marvel, but after a quick search, it seems DC stopped a rival publishing Captain Marvel comic because the character was too similar to Superman. Marvel comics at the time took advantage and created their own Captain Marvel. DC then went on to acquire the Captain Marvel that would become Shazam, but I suppose had to re-brand him due to Marvel comics owning that name; even though DC's Marvel was created long before.
Maybe that worked out for DC now we have the DCEU. I imagine if the character were still called Captain Marvel, there would be many a confused punter going to see a character called Marvel but isn't a Marvel character, but a DC one.

There isn't really an adult version of Shazam as it's just the boy Billy trapped basically in Superman's body. So I think they went down (Tom Hanks) Big style approach. So he will be child like. The suit does look a little too corny, not sure about LED symbol as it's meant to be mirror lightning rather than a street sign.
Yeah looks like it. Hope they do go ahead with it as Dwayne been waiting for years to happen.

lol heaven forbid any Marvel movie fan who wasn't into the comics goes and searches to expand their knowledge on Captain Marvel, Mar-vell, Ms Marvel Carol Danvers, Ms Marvel Khamela Khan
I think there's been 6 or 7 different versions of captain/ms Marvel, now that is confusing
that many?? captain marvel and mar-vell are the same character afaik.
anyway, i think shazam looks fine and pretty faithful to the comic - it needs to be a fun kids film really, and thats what it looks like. Imagine how bad a zack synder version would be *shudder*
