Paul Blamire. The issue is that V-Power goes off much more quickly. If you get new stuff it's great, but if it has been in the garage tank for four weeks, it has dropped its octane rating. Tesco 99 RON either turns over faster, or lasts better. Either way, the octane rating is much more likely to be what is intended. The best V-Power is probably a little better than the best 99 RON, but the average probably works the other way around.
