Really Sorry this is late, I totally forgot.
Really Sorry this is late, I totally forgot.
i honestly can't be bothered to race anymore with this thing.. its meant to go straight thats all.. - good for drag?!
its also funny holding your wheel at 90deg+ while the car goes straight!![]()
anyways here's my attempt - ~15mins racing done with it![]()
It's a 5**bhp fwd drive car so expect it to understeer on exit if you just floor it out of corners, a fwd drive car should never ever have so much power because of this exact problem, just take care and you should be fine... hell even i was struggling with this car but don't spend 15mins expecting to learn the cars weaknesses and strong points.
If anyone wants my setup then grab it here.
Gutted! Windows has just updated to Service Pack 1 and now Shift 2 won't run. Re-Install makes no difference! Really don't need this crap!
Just get black screen as if its gonna run then just was generic windows "SHIFT 2 Has Stopped Working" Error. Ggrr
When I installed SP1 in february, I then went ahead and deleted the backup files and regained 3GB of space. However, the backup files are needed to uninstall the service pack, otherwise a reinstall of windows is needed. So I can't uninstall it. Have a look in control panel/windows update/installed updates and look for 'Service Pack for Microsoft Windows (KB976932)'. Highlight it and at the top of the screen next to 'Organise', the 'Uninstall' tab will appear only if it's uninstallable, like it does if you highlight any other security updates in that screen. http://img39.imageshack.us/img39/6329/sp1bz.jpg
Also, I have the Shift2U.exe in windows 7 compatibilty mode, try that. Or you could try ticking the box that says 'Run this program as an administrator'
