Ok, I just finished a format and re install. Set the game up exactly how it was set before. Now I can't keep the car on the track. It's all over the shop. Just switched it all off in frustration. The game feels total crap now. I really don't understand.

Do you mean you drove this car before the install and now it feels different? Because otherwise, the car really is difficult to handle till you adjust to it. Did you remember to use the juls mod since reinstalling the game?

I didn't drive the car before no, juls mod is installed. All the cars feel different to before, hard to keep them from wandering on the straights too. But this weeks car is completely un drivable. As soon as I turn for a corner the back end just tries to overtake the front end.

Are you even on the right layout? we are using the National layout not the full GP layout.

The whole game has gone to ****. Count me out this week. Sorry I don't mean to throw all my toys out but the best I can manage is a 1:17.summat. haven't got the time to spend all day farting about with it.

Just tried a few other cars and It's just not right. The ffb has changed too. I give up.

Having to quit the game after every 2 races because the framerate drops down into the 20's is really not helping with my blood pressure either. Think, rfactor or iracing is gonna be getting installed soon.

Go into the options and starting messing with the wheel setting, have you set the setting in the logitech panel?

I get regular fps drops too, I've never ever been able to nail exactly what causes it. It's really annoying.

As far as the car, if you're getting 1:17's, I'd say your game is probably working ok. It took me the best part of 8 hours almost continual driving on day one to get the handle of this car and to even start getting below 1:17's. It's particularly difficult to control, lots and lots of throttle control needed. I know you're more than capable of that, you've always had good laptimes.
It's almost a drift type experience with this combo.

true.. but its odd to see the back end out on fwd car! feels like it has no weight at all in the rear..

What downforce you using? I'm using 20/20. Tried 24/19 then went back to 20/20.

Doing this abit earlier than normal, submit your times as normal for week 2 combo until 18:00 then switch to week 3 combo, results will be done in about 1 hour

Week 3: Ford Escort RS Cosworth (PI Works) @ Glendale West
