Settings are different but there is no way I could drive with 200 degrees of rotation. I use minimum 360. Everything else is pretty much the same.

It is works converted too.

How come in your settings picture your steering lock for race and drift is in %. Mine is in degrees!!
 
Here's a lap of mine before got into the 48's. Richard, everyone is playing as fair as the game will allow, you just need to practise it and stop your whining.:p There is some cutting on the grass banking, but it's not cheating since the game allows it. If it was F1 2010, it wouldn't allow anywhere near as much tolerance :D

 
I know I'm whining and I apologise but there is no way I'm gonna drive a lap like you just did with all aids off. It just won't happen, plus I feel that that is not my style, It's not the way I drive, and the game in my opinion shouldn't be allowing laps like that. Sorry. I know It's not your fault though.

This game with the settings I use can feel quite sim like, which is how I like it. The above videos just look arcade and I'm not sure why they look so different to mine.
 
I use ABS and I know Mr.F does too, in fact, I've been using ABS on his recommendation for a while now. I never used to and I don't in F1 2010. But you should try with ABS on, it doesn't make it that much easier, it's still a hell of a challenge, but it helps. :)

I don't use ABS anymore because i can brake harder and later also i can use more brakes going into the corners aswell.

Trying to make this game feel anything like a sim is just wrong because the physics in the are just wrong on so many levels, i have tried the mods to which they claim it feels like a sim but all they do it reduce the overall grip on cars because a when playing around with the MINI with one of those "sim" mods the top speed is higher by at least 4 mph because all the mod does it reduce the tyre fraction.

If you're interested in trying my settings richard until Mr.F posts his, here they are. Some things I didn't change at all and some things I changed that I don't know if they really helped me or not although I personally feel they made the car feel a bit better to me. Extra steering lock really helped me, particularly for turn 2. I'm sure Mr.F's will be a lot more comprehensive.

Best I could manage was 54s with a 360 controller, very jealous of some of your setups, the video posted looks smooth, my fps isnt quite so luxurious.
 
After doing an engine swap which I was not initially aware I had to do. This is the best time I can manage.

Sorry i can't accept that time because you need to take a screen shot of finishing positions and laps like it says in the rules (everyone has followed this rule)


Two Screen shots must be taken (Finishing Positions & Laps) at the end of the session. Lap times will not be included from mid race as these times show illegal lap times where corner cuts may have been taken, also the performance index needs to be shown in one of the screen shots (in the autolog under your time it shows either your performance index or the car you are using by flickering between both of them) but if you have already set a faster time and the current car does not show your time in autolog then the rule does not apply to you.
