Shooting Clays

You may be better off finding a local club which provide lessons. They will not only take you though improving your **** but also the process of applying for a license and selecting a gun.
To be honest, I don't want to go that far.

As I said I am an archer, and that is my main sport/hobby. But would like to occasionally have a shoot...
Getting a experience day once a year or something would do it, but was just wondering if there was a better way without actually going down the whole. Course. Get a licence, but a gun, join a club path

Go for a shoot of some .22 rifles at Double Deuce in Walsall of Phoenix range in Burnley?

Talk to your local clubs. They might operate new shooter classes or have a club gun you can use to shoot alongside the regular club members under supervision.

If you're near Stoke, get yourself down to Doveridge:

They do lessons/have a go sessions/rentals etc.

My partner bought a experience day for Christmas... Loads of options including clay pigeon ). So I'll be having at least one more go at it

Going for our first instructor lesson on Saturday, then a full tour of the club, meal and chance to ask questions etc.

If all goes well we plan on becoming members, 3k a year each but this includes 18 lessons with a professional, gun storage, discounts off clays and cartridges etc.

After a few lessons plan to visit Premier guns, which is at Doveridge to try our shortlist out and decide what to buy.
