In which case, I think I would try the secure erase option (after creating an image of your SSD).
You need to create a bootable CD/DVD if you are using Easeus Todo or Macrium Reflect. The process is quicker and easier if you create the SSD image onto a hard drive, rather than DVDs.
You will also need to create a bootable USB memory stick or disc for the secure erase. Samsung Magician can do this for you.
To be honest, it's probably going to be an hour or so of messing about, probably longer if you aren't used to doing this sort of thing. If it were my system, I'd give it a try, but I'm used to imaging drives etc.
Unless someone can come up with a suggestion we haven't thought of, the only other thing that might be worth a try is testing your SSD in another system. You'll obviously need to find a PC with a spare Sata 3 port.
