Gysnc tax is too much, and I literally just got this monitor last week, Hannspree 32 1440p 144hz £320Imo no keep the 1080 and get a g sync monitor

Sounds more like your PC is ******. Doom runs a lot better on AMD cards than it does on Nvidia, especially with Vulkan.

Vega is pretty poor out the box,

Shame as it's one of the better ones, whilst Nvidia can have it's issues, generally Nvidia and their aibs tune the bios to the silicon with more refinement. Vega Def needs tweaking to see it's true potential.It was a sapphire nitro
