Should we move to Oz?

Yeah it's the small buggers you have to look out for.

Can't say it was fun when I was staying with my mate in Melbourne having to put gloves on to get wood out the shed for the fire just in case a killy death spider fancied a nibble.

But spiders.

  • Killer sharks
  • Killer jellyfish
  • Killer stingrays (RIP Steve)
  • Killer crocodiles
  • Killer snakes
  • Killer spiders
  • Boxing kangaroos
  • All the koala bears have chlamydia
  • The sun gives you skin cancer
  • Bogans

If i ever win a holiday there i am giving it away ,i just see spiders and crime ,maybe ive watched too much Bondi rescue

Yeah **** moving there, those spiders freak me out.
Worth mentioning that nobody has died of a redback bite since 1955, and there's been only one death from a funnel web bite in the last 40 years.

Yeah, I didn't actually see any anywhere, not even traipsing about the Blue Mountains.

And that of course the OP is considering a move to Melbourne, which plays host to neither of these species. :D

This Huntsman lived in my garage for a bit during lockdown. Wife's hand for scale. (It didnt bite her)

Don't forget the 'eshays' and the killer magpies
The top floor of my house overlooks a park that acts as a pedestrian thoroughfare to the local high street. They nest this time of year and one of them is currently protecting it's nest in a tree right next to the footpath and is terrorising people walking by. I love watching it. Most are on their phones and don't even see it coming. Knocked a woman clean over the other day, she got up and ran away and it chased her as she screamed. :D

Just LOL if you're not already on the plane. We're in Sydney at the moment actually - currently peeing it down like Edinburgh in summertime - so that's some information for you.

Namaste.
