That camera jump was probably around number 50 for me. I now have 90 jumps, which is nothing when you compare other skydivers with thousands upon thousands of jumps. It never gets old :)

my local centre (nr Whitchurch, shropshire) will not train anyone for their AFF (?) course. You have to pay them £1400 and then you travel to spain and learn over there in about 10 jumps.

Yeah only a few centres in the UK even offer AFF purely because of the weather here. Also with that you have to be careful, the £1400 covers the 9 (I think thats right) AFF levels PROVIDED you pass them on your first attempt. If you have to repeat a level then you have to pay for that jump again which can be as much as £300 depending on what level it is!!

Also after AFF you are not a qualified skydiver, you still need to do another 10 consolidation jumps (consols) to get your A licence.

AFF is REALLY good method of learning to skydive as the training is really intensive, you could do it in 2 or 3 days (I took 10 months to get my licence with RAPS and not AFF). However AFF costs a FORTUNE, probably looking at about £2000 in the space of about a week if you get the weather to get all the jumps and qualified.

I used to be really into football freestyle. Most people know the around the world trick, I can do 4 consecutive ones, aswell as many other tricks. My kickup record is about 850. My mate who used to be one of the best in England at it could do 2,000 before getting bored.

Psshh, I learnt how to do this when i was seven. I can even put one hand over my eye to make a farting sound - man i'm immature!
