*** Show Off Your Apple Hardware ***

Core m7 CPU, 8Gb RAM and a 256Gb SSD. Considering the size and the weight, the performance seems pretty bloody incredible. I can see this being put in my bag every time I go out. I can also see myself moving away from Dropbox and onto iCloud for sharing the documents folder. Plus with the auto-unlock on the Apple Watch, it's finally tempted me to enable two stage authentication on my Apple account.

The keyboard is fine. Honestly, if I hadn't read so much about it, I probably wouldn't even notice the difference. Yes, there's less travel but it means little to me. I notice more that although it's a full size keyboard, it doesn't have the numeric keypad.

What a cracking machine! Glad you're happy and impressed by it. I've been looking at the 12" MacBook's on the refurb store as well, I'm in the market to buy my Mum a new laptop as her current machine is showing it's age and was considering the Core m3 or the m5 model. Main use will be Web, Email and Office work so won't need the extra grunt of the m7.

I'm leaning towards the MacBook due its Retina screen over an i5 13" Air.

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on wither it's the best choice or a bit compromised to be an everyday machine?

Valo, just done you a quick video on my base M3, 8Gb, 256Gb:

It really is an astounding laptop. I love my performance but like Feek says the machine flies and I am always wondering what witch craft Apple has pulled off with this machine. Its a perfect package as it never feels slow, has the retina screen, awesome battery life and is so compact and light you can take it anywhere. Go for it and get one.

Mine looks silver when I photograph it as well but it's absolutely space grey.

Whats the webcam like on these 12" laptops?

Reviews seem to say they aren't great, would like to use it for facetime now and then

Thanks

Picked up a Macbook 12" off of eBay this week, AppleCare until March 2019, 15 Battery cycles boxed with a soft case, magic mouse (Gen 2 I think) with a USB c to USB adapter mint condition £750 delivered....

Very please, typing on it right now....

Mind sending me the link to the seller in trust please? :)

I can but it was a one off, it was his own laptop but didn't get on with OSX

I just filtered on "new listing" and made a "best offer" and he accepted

Ah no worries, thanks anyways.

I'm on the lookout for a 15" 2014 Retina MBP, I regret selling mine. I have a 13" 2015 mbp but for some reason still miss the 15" model I had, must be the size and performance, it was/is a beast.

Noticed what appeared to be a patch/speck of dust behind my 12" Macbook so book a genius app and they've stated that it's a cluster of dead pixels :(

It's still under AC so being repaired, just had the invoice emailed to me £391 for a SpaceGrey screen assembly... Glad Im not paying for it :)

Can anyone recommend a good USB-C adapter for USB and SD Memory cards .... To use on my Macbook 12" please :)

EDIT - Got this in Space Grey for £20.99, gets fairly warm but works a treat and looks awesome
