*** Show Off Your Apple Hardware ***

Thinking of ditching my 2011 iMac already while its still the latest model, then ditching my 2009 MBP when the new 13" air arrives and getting than and the TB display, need the portability, not sure i need 2 seperate machines...

good idea?

Go for it, as long as you have something to use Time Machine with (just in case the Air got nicked), then it's a case of 2 birds with one stone. If you're not using up the memory or doing things that tax the iMac (and would therefore be very taxing for the Air), then it's more economical. Also, you never know, the next TB display (and Macbooks) may well have Retina displays, double the current res (as this is in the code for Lion/Mountain Lion).

Well yeah we'll see, if i sell my current stuff, and put all the money away

rumours that USB3 may come with the ivybridge upgrades too, so that may mean a usb3 additioned TB display.

Id like more memory for the times i use windows so hopefuly the next gen of airs have an 8GB option

Not posted in ages so here is some pics with my new setup etc in the new house. ;)

Yep its just the same as the iPad 2 apart from I no longer need gloves in the winter thanks to the extra heat :D

I haven't followed the new iPad at all since it was announced, anything else I should know other than the overheating problem?
