I used a Dr Bott Digital Video Link Hdmi lead from xbox in one end and then the other end in Display Port in Mac

That is going to overheat like nothing else when you run something intensive!
Same as mine, playing FM or a lot of flash videos *cough* makes the fans spin up like a beast!
Would be careful as the case will keep in the heat like you are using it in bed everywhere....
Recent purchases. My first foray into Apple, seeing as the Uni Edit Suites are Apple, it made sense to catch up... despite recently shelling out a fortune on an Asus G74SX and Avid for my personal stuff.
My first complaint... no USB ports on the right hand side mean the Apple Mouse lead is too short to stretch around the laptop. Right handed people cant use a mouse with a 17" MBP. Hah.
Edit: I guess it's not my first foray, since ive had a 1st Gen iPod Touch since release. But that's it, really.
