First attempt at 321 ribs today. Pretty damn tasty though I will probably make them 432 next time, unless I get a BBQ where I can control the temp better.

I went to Recipease in Notting Hill for a pasta making course, was a birthday present from my girlfriend.

I made Tagiatelli, Farfalle and Linguini with a tomato, garlic, chilli sauce. The linguini was an epic fail to be honest but the other two came out really well. We got shown a few other sauces too but we only got to make the tomato sauce recipe.

The course was enjoyable and certainly will help in my quest to become a good pasta maker haha I didn't enjoy all the tourists walking in and around the shop, as the course is based inside the shop. Very annoying !!

Yup, picked some up earlier. Just made my dough and it's in the fridge wrapped up ready to go in about half n hour more now.

Making tagliatelli tonight with a portobello mushroom, crème fraiche and garlic sauce. Pics to follow

Had another go making tagliatelle last night. Once again it seems a hard task to do to get the pasta maker to cut it all properly and keep the pasta seperate. I think I am not getting the pasta dry enough as it's sticking together. Still, better than the first attempt I made.

I made brownie muffin cupcake things. They're chocolate fudge brownies with fudge chunks and chopped hazelnuts, topped with thick chocolate ganache and a dusting of icing sugar served in individual cupcake cases.

Apologies for the awful picture. Also not sure why I took a picture of them at the sink. Doesn't seem hygienic.

So it's a pretty bad picture, and it's not the prettiest food, but I made about 3.5 kilos of paella last night:

Can't wait to get my gas canister refilled so I can do the same outside on the proper paella burner :p

This looks like something my other hafl would enjoy, what other things went into it? a dressing of sorts im guessing too?

I just cooked the prawns and asparagus in garlic, butter and chilli and drizzled that over, with prior to that dressing the salad with a little olive oil and balsamic.
