In the first image, what is that you are using to support the graphics card? almost looks like a bolt thread.

Its a carbon fibre rod, 5mm diameter. Cut to size with small hack-saw and the end sanded down.

A bit off topic question but has anyone with a Haf X (full size) managed to remove the HDD bay? I only have 1 SSD and 1 HDD and both of them are in the upper section where DVD drives go. I'd like to improve ventilation if possible too.
